Kevan Funk is a Canadian-born Writer and Director who has had numerous short films earning awards at festivals around the world. Kevan was introduced to the arts at an early age, being raised in and around his parents’ grassroots theatre company.

Kevan's first feature film, "Hello Destroyer" about a young hockey player whose life was transformed after a violent on ice incident, received its world premiere at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival receiving rave reviews from critics naming it one of the Top 10 Canadian films of the past decade.

His directing style and writing portrays topics of the day in a real life, heartfelt way that allows an in-depth look at the subject’s experience throughout each film.
